Welcome to MSA Youth Academy
Who we are, what we do, and why we exist.
Assalāmu ʿalaykum — welcome to MSA Youth Academy Australia.
If you're a parent looking for a program that will help your child grow in confidence, develop real-world skills, and strengthen their connection to Islam — you've come to the right place.
Our Mission
MSA Youth Academy Australia develops the next generation of resourceful, confident leaders grounded in Islamic values. We're cultivating khalīfa — integrated individuals who master themselves, serve their communities, and excel in every domain of life.
What We Do
MSA runs structured youth development programs for young Australians aged 6–15 (and expanding). Every Friday during school terms, our Troops gather in the St George region of Sydney for sessions that combine:
Who We Serve
Our program currently serves over 220 young people across three age-based units:
- Explorers (ages 6–7) — our youngest members, building curiosity and confidence
- Seekers (ages 8–11) — developing skills, knowledge, and character
- Strivers (ages 12–15) — stepping into leadership and deeper challenges
A Community Effort
MSA is powered by over 50 volunteer leaders and ground staff — people who give their time every week because they believe in our mission. We're a registered Australian not-for-profit (ABN 38 692 380 242), with formal governance, child safety policies, and a commitment to professional standards.
Since launching in October 2024, we've seen incredible demand — 120 initial enrolments, a waiting list of over 100, and a 97% retention rate. Families are hungry for a program like this, and we're honoured to serve.
Get Involved
Whether you're a parent wanting to enrol your child, someone interested in volunteering, or simply curious about what we do — we'd love to hear from you.
